Pigment is a change and transformation consultancy. We partner with other consultancies to deliver a 'one team approach' for solving complex change across sectors including Defence and National Security, Central and Local Government, Transport and Finance.
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the design and assurance of secure solutions across complex, high-profile transformation programmes. You will play a pivotal role in providing expert security guidance, influence strategic architectural decisions, communicating security risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading security architecture and design reviews for complex systems and programmes.
- Providing expert advice on security risks, controls, and governance.
- Influencing senior stakeholders and support risk-based decision making.
- Assessing emerging technologies, including AI, and their associated security implications.
- Driving security best practice across on-premise, private cloud, and public cloud environments.
- Supporting policy, process, and business transformation initiatives from a security perspective.
As a Security Architect you will have the following Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience delivering security architecture within large-scale business change and IT transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of security risk management, governance, and accreditation processes.
- Experience working in complex, high-profile environments with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, business teams, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architectures, cloud technologies, and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of Government security frameworks, including the Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework (SPF), and experience working across Government Security Classification levels.
Location: Central London - 3 x per week in office
Day rate: £700 a day inside IR35
Due to the sensitive nature of the information you will be working with and exposed to, active DV clearance will need to be held.
