Job Description
Operating Model Design Lead | Capital Projects | SC-Cleared | £500 - £800 a day Inside IR35 DOEPigment is a change and transformation consultancy.
We partner with other consultancies, government departments, and private sector organisations to deliver a 'one team approach' for solving complex change programmes.
We are seeking an Op Model Design Lead to support the design of future operating models for defence capital programmes, ensuring organisational structures, governance, processes, roles, and ways of working are aligned to strategic objectives and enable the effective delivery of major capital infrastructure programmes.
Key
Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of Target Operating Models (TOMs) for defence capital programmes and portfolio functions.
Assess current operating models, organisational structures, governance arrangements, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Define future-state organisational structures, operating principles, roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
Produce high-quality operating model documentation, process maps, governance models, organisation charts, and executive briefing materials.
Support change management and stakeholder engagement activities during operating model implementation.
Required Experience Experience designing or implementing operating models within defence capital projects.
Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams across programme management, commercial, engineering, digital, finance, and project controls.
Understanding of major capital programme governance and delivery.
Due to project sensitivities, our consultants must have active and valid SC-Level Clearance.
