Pigment is a change and transformation consultancy. We partner with other consultancies to deliver a 'one team approach' for solving complex change across sectors including Central and Local Government, Defence and National Security, Transport and Finance.
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Transition & Mobilisation Consultant to lead the successful transition of HR and Finance Shared Services operations from an incumbent provider to a new strategic outsourcing partner. This is a critical role requiring a seasoned Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) consultant with a proven track record of delivering complex transition, transformation, and mobilisation programmes within large-scale shared services environments. You will be fostering and managing strong stakeholder relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, maintaining a deep understanding of our clients' business needs.
This role will suit a hands-on consultant who thrives in complex environments, can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders, and has the experience to navigate the challenges of transitioning critical business services while maintaining operational performance.
Areas of Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end transition and mobilisation of HR and Finance Shared Services from the incumbent BPO provider to the newly appointed partner.
- Develop and execute transition plans, governance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and mobilisation roadmaps.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across client, incumbent supplier, and incoming provider organisations.
- Ensure operational continuity, service stability, and successful knowledge transfer throughout the transition lifecycle.
- Drive programme governance, reporting, issue resolution, and executive communications.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including HR Operations, Payroll, Finance Operations, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and associated support functions.
- Support readiness assessments, service acceptance criteria, and go-live activities.
Ideal Background
- Consulting experience within a leading management consultancy, outsourcing provider, or specialist transformation practice.
- Experience across large-scale business services transformation, shared services, GBS, or outsourcing programmes.
- Familiarity with transition methodologies, TOM design, service integration, and change management.
