The Role

As an Ecommerce Assistant at Piglet in Bed, you'll own the day-to-day execution of our website strategy across the UK and US markets. You'll work closely with our Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager to ensure a seamless and innovative online shopping experience for our customers. As the backbone of our online presence, you'll be responsible for managing our websites, ensuring brand consistency, launching new products, and keeping ahead of industry trends to propose forward-thinking ideas.

What you'll be getting up to

  • Ecommerce Strategy & CRO
    • You'll assist in monitoring and analysing website performance metrics, helping identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
    • You'll analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to uncover growth opportunities.
    • You'll enhance the customer journey from browsing to checkout, maximising on-site conversions.
    • You'll conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement, optimising performance, and enhancing user satisfaction and conversion rates.
  • Website Management
    • You'll assist in the management and maintenance of each of Piglet's online stores, ensuring a seamless user experience.
    • You'll maintain the aesthetic and functional aspects of our websites, ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
    • You'll ensure website functionality, security, and performance meet high standards through our web development agency.
    • You'll support the implementation of site enhancements, updates, and new features in collaboration with the Senior Ecommerce Manager and external agencies.
    • You'll manage execution of all on-site SEO strategies.
  • Product Merchandising
    • You'll optimise product discoverability on the websites, through close collaboration with our Merchandising team.
    • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various product launches, campaigns, and sales.
    • You'll highlight key products, promotions, and seasonal collections, e.g. through the use of landing pages.
    • You'll oversee the uploading of new products.
  • Data, Analytics and Reporting
    • You'll monitor performance metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, generating reports to assess our online trading.
    • You'll contribute ideas and insights to help drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximise revenue.
    • You'll review competitor activities consistently, to identify best practices.
    • You'll ensure optimal setup of the website's data layer in collaboration with our partner agency.

About You

You have at least 2 years' of hands-on experience managing complex e-Commerce and/or multichannel websites and projects, ideally in a fast-paced environment. You have in-depth knowledge of Shopify and analytics tools. You have intermediate skills using Excel and PowerPoint.
