Location: North Powys (Welshpool, Newtown, Machynlleth, Llanidloes) Contract Type: Locum (Flexible, up to full-time hours) Accommodation: Not provided (local options can be signposted) Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 or Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in North Powys. The role involves providing on-site clinical ward cover across our community hospitals in Welshpool, Newtown, Machynlleth, and Llanidloes. You will be supporting the care of elderly, medical, palliative care, and rehabilitation patients, working collaboratively with experienced pharmacy technicians, assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), including GPs and therapy professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in patient care with support from a dedicated team of pharmacy professionals. Key Responsibilities: Delivering clinical pharmacy services to wards. Providing expert advice on medication management for elderly, palliative, and rehabilitation patients. Collaborating with the MDT to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Traveling to different hospital sites as required. Requirements: Registered pharmacist with appropriate qualifications. Previous experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting (Band 6/7 level).
