We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum Dietitian to join our team at a renowned acute hospital in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Dietitian with experience in critical care and neuro dietetics to make a real difference in the care of patients. You will play a key role in providing expert dietetic support to ICU and neuro patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:- ICU & Neuro Caseload: Provide specialist dietetic input to critically ill patients in the ICU and those with neuro conditions, developing and implementing nutrition care plans tailored to their individual needs.
- Nutritional Assessments: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments, making recommendations for enteral or parenteral nutrition, and ensuring the safe administration of nutrition support.
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Patient Education: Offer clear and compassionate advice to patients and their families, supporting their understanding of nutrition and health needs.
- Nutritional Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
