We are looking for an experienced Mechanical / Hydraulics Fitter specialising in hydraulics to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with strong experience in hydraulic systems, mechanical assembly, maintenance, and fault finding.

In this role, you will be responsible for the fitting, servicing, repair, and testing of hydraulic and mechanical equipment used across workshop and site operations.

Ideal background: industrial maintenance, mobile plant, manufacturing, heavy equipment, or field service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fitting, assembling, and installing hydraulic and mechanical components
  • Servicing and repairing hydraulic systems and equipment
  • Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults
  • Reading engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics
  • Rebuilding hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and related components
  • Conducting testing and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Completing maintenance records and job documentation
  • Following all workshop and site safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Hydraulic Fitter, or similar
  • Strong hydraulic fault-finding and repair skills
