Supplier Performance Manager – Leading Provider of EV Vehicle Solutions & Services
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supplier Performance Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation within the vehicle operations function. Reporting to the Head of Vehicle Operations, this role is responsible for managing the performance of a portfolio of high-volume, high-spend suppliers providing vehicles, services, maintenance, and repair solutions.
This is a strategic position that plays a key role in enhancing supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and continuously improving the driver experience. The role will also support the delivery of a group-wide supplier management strategy, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business.
Location: Hertfordshire 2 days a week

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage performance and reporting for all key service suppliers across the vehicle supply chain.
- Supplier relations can range from the likes of tyres, glass, telematics & SMR.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, championing a high-quality, customer-focused service.
- Use data, analysis, and reporting to monitor trends and drive performance improvement and value creation.
- Support the tender process for the selection of new suppliers, ensuring cost effectiveness and service excellence.
- Track and report risk indicators and escalate significant deviations to senior leadership and risk functions.
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps in existing supplier processes and reporting frameworks, and lead the implementation of improvements.
- Stay informed on developments in the automotive, leasing, and salary sacrifice sectors to maintain a competitive edge.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in supplier performance management, ideally within the automotive, leasing, or related sectors.
- Skilled in interpreting data and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities, with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and contract management.
- Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of customer experience drivers and service excellence.
- Able to identify risks and implement preventative or corrective measures.
- Familiarity with supplier governance frameworks and risk management is desirable.
