The Business

Our client is a leading provider of automotive finance who have been providing motor finance on behalf to dealerships throughout the UK for many years. They offer a full financial product portfolio which enables their dealerships to sell more cars profitably. The business has just had a significant change in both leadership and direction, so they are looking for innovative and passionate individuals to drive their new journey.

The Role

Managing accounts across your own region of the UK, you will be responsible for sales growth and performance for numerous dealers across the passenger vehicle, LCV and motorbike space. As well as having a heavy focus on account retention, your performance will also be measured on new accounts, giving you the opportunity to expand on the existing portfolio by researching and prospecting new clients to gain onboard.

To succeed in this role, you will be a dynamic and driven sales professional who enjoys the thrill of presenting and closing deals. As well as opening and building new relationships, a passion for industry networking and an understanding of the automotive industry combined with FCA knowledge would be beneficial.

This role is a sales based field role and requires a self-motivated individual with a “get up and go” attitude, combined with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining relationships within the existing portfolio of accounts, scheduling regular visits and guidance to improve business
  • Research new business opportunities within your area to approach through telephone prospecting and face to face visits
  • Engage and reignite previous prospects to expand the existing portfolio of accounts
  • Build rapport with key decision makers, present and demonstrate suitable solutions, adapting individually to each client in an enthusiastic and engaging manner
  • Strengthen each account’s performance by being on hand to assist with queries and conclude business

  • Sales professional with a track record in hitting targets on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships to influence key decision makers
  • Previous interaction and customer focus in a B2C or B2B environment
  • A self-managed individual, organising time and diary in an efficient manner
