Born out of charity and heartfelt social mission, this business is an incredible place to work and a talented, driven team to be a part of. The heart of the product is a tech platform, serving consumers at their time of need and well beyond whilst creating huge charitable opportunities too. With bragging rights to unprecedented market share and strong growth to boot, they enter the next phase of their expansion and awareness.

If you've thought about putting your commercial marketing career and experience to use with a business with purpose, that affects people's lives in a genuinely positive way, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

The Role

Whilst the historical marketing goals and audiences have centred around the B2B aspects of their business, this year heralds the new push to consumer brand awareness, with an exciting relaunch and campaign plans starting to formulate. You'll join to lead this journey and come with expertise as to how to execute this additional strategy in the most effective ways, whilst improving and investing in the traditional B2B2C channels.

You'll be heading up the marketing team, consisting of a few existing members with niche skills across the existing marketing mix. Channel marketing to B2B customers and charity partners remains a core part of this role, but the consumer engagement pathway will be a huge focus in the short term. Advertising strategies, creation, deployment to measurement, tactics and reach will all be within your expertise and experience to really make a difference.

About you

  • We're looking for a mature mind, a leader with clear direction yet sensitivity and an expert in Consumer Marketing to lead this new phase.
  • Ideally you will have either an FMCG / Retail / Consumer tech background.
  • Strong skills in advertising, media and mass communications - although budget conscious.
  • Skills in B2B marketing and working with channel partners for brand and sales growth.
  • Team leadership and man management experience a must.
  • Budget development and management skills.

Please consider when applying that this role is hybrid and means you will need to be in the office location 2 - 3 days a week. There is no room for complete remote working.
