Account Manager – Marketing Leading Automotive Tyres and Service Provider Background The opportunity to join a prestigious brand in the world of tyres has arisen. This is a team with an extremely low staff turnover and openings are very rare so I would not wait around to get involved! Established initially as a independent garage they have become one of the largest tyre wholesalers in the UK with a nationwide chain of independent fast fit and mechanical garages. On top of this, they offer services in fleet management and work directly with OEMs! Opportunity Account Manager East/East Anglia (Norwich to Essex and surrounding areas) £40,000 – £45,000 basic with OTE of £65,000+ 26 days annual leave Life Assurance Company Car With a huge client base already established this a fantastic opportunity to take over and continue the growth and success of the area. Selling into the independent dealer network providing passenger tyres from budget, mid-range to premium. However, we cannot stress enough this is not a tyre ‘rep’ role. You will need to possess the ability to provide a consultative approach when working with your dealers giving valuable insights to how they can market and improve their sales. After all, the more tyres they sell, the more tyres you sell… What’s in it for me? Given the prestige of this brand and the scope of the market they cover, you will have ample opportunity to grow and develop your patch increasing your earning potential. As well as that, there is the lovely benefit of a fully remote working environment allowing you to fully manage your working week. On top of that, a lovely company car will be provided. Great team culture You’ll be doing this: The general work week will usually consist of 4 days out on the road with typically 3 average appointments a day. These tend to last 1-2 hours giving you enough time to provide the consultative service required. Developing and implementing added value business plans for your independent retailers. Consulting and providing the best service to your customers whilst driving sales and growth of your patch. Keeping up to date reports of your pipeline and relaying this to management. And you’ll need this: Knowledge of the automotive retailer market is essential. Ideally you will have touched tyre sales in some aspect, but this is by no means a prerequisite. An understanding of what it takes to run a business. As you will be consulting with your retailers to provide valuable insights on where they can improve.
