We are known for our unique, vibrant venues and outstanding guest experiences – and our food and drink offering is a core part of that experience.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nWe’re looking for an experienced and driven Kitchen Manager to join the team at Picturehouse Central. Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading our kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food standards, team development, and smooth F&B processes across the venue.\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef ready to step up or an experienced Kitchen Manager seeking a fresh challenge in a creative, fast-paced environment – without the pressure of designing menus.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nLeadership & Team Development\\n\\n * Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality food and excellent service.\\n\\n * Work alongside the General Manager to recruit, onboard, and develop kitchen staff.\\n\\n * Set clear expectations and delegate effectively to ensure smooth operations across both front and back of house.\\n\\nFood Standards & Delivery\\n\\n * Prepare and cook dishes to Picturehouse specifications, ensuring high standards of presentation, portion control, and consistency.\\n\\n * Uphold exceptional food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards, maintaining a 5-star food safety rating at all times.\\n\\n * Monitor and minimise wastage through effective stock rotation and preparation techniques.\\n\\nF&B Operations & Stock Control\\n\\n * Manage kitchen ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships in line with company policies.\\n\\n * Receive and check deliveries, resolving discrepancies while maintaining accurate records in line with HACCP procedures.\\n\\n * Complete monthly stock takes, drive cost-efficiency, and manage margin and profitability targets.\\n\\nEvent Catering & Collaboration\\n\\n * Support the delivery of food for a variety of events including film premieres, private screenings, and corporate functions.\\n\\n * Collaborate with the central operations team on menu development and future proposition enhancements.\\n\\nPlanning & Administration\\n\\n * Create rotas aligned to business needs and within budget.\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and food safety procedures.\\n\\n * Complete relevant kitchen-related administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.\\n\\nNote: This job description reflects the present requirements of the post.
