Working with a leading international law firm looking to hire a SQL Applications Systems Engineer to join their IT team. This is a hands-on SQL Server role focused on managing and optimising enterprise database environments that underpin critical business systems.

The role:

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise queries
  • Work with HA/DR technologies (AlwaysOn, replication, mirroring, log shipping)
  • Support data integrations across firm systems
  • Work with BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI)
  • Support applications sitting on SQL, including document management systems

  • 5+ years SQL Server DBA experience
  • Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
