Senior IT Support Engineer
(12-month FTC, London)
£45,000 – £50,000 Benefits
4 days onsite (Barbican)
We’re looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our London IT team on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover). This is a hands-on role acting as the escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support, with opportunities to work across elements of 3rd line infrastructure and projects.
The Role
- As part of a small, collaborative IT team, you’ll be the go-to technical lead for user support and endpoint management. You’ll:
- Act as escalation point for complex service desk tickets (Windows, iOS, M365).
- Lead on Microsoft 365 administration and Intune device management.
- Support and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues across PCs, laptops, iPhones, iPads.
- Provide AV support and assist with network diagnostics where required.
- Work with vendors and partners to manage repairs, replacements, and escalations.
- Contribute to proactive monitoring, documentation, and ITIL-based processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background in 2nd line IT support with experience handling escalations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Intune (essential).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Confident diagnosing and resolving a wide range of desktop and mobile issues.
- Experience with Active Directory, endpoint imaging, and ITIL processes.
- Desirable: AV support experience, network troubleshooting, or exposure to 3rd line environments.
