Development Team Leader
Ipswich
Full-time, Permanent
£60,000 – £65,000
Hybrid (3 days in office)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Team Leader to join a forward-thinking organisation in the professional services sector. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with a strong background in software development, Agile delivery, and Microsoft cloud technologies.
The Role
- Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 developers based in Ipswich.
- Deliver end-to-end (cradle-to-grave) software solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define and deliver robust, scalable products.
- Drive Agile practices, including Scrum, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD
- Implement and maintain high-quality software using .NET, C#, React/JavaScript, and automation frameworks.
- Design and manage microservices and API-driven architecture.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a software development team.
- Full lifecycle product development expertise
Strong knowledge of:
- .NET, C#, React/JavaScript
- Azure DevOps, pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Microservices architecture and custom/3rd party API development
- M365 technologies (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Canvas Apps)
