An award winning law firm are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. You will be a pivotal member of their Product Delivery Team, leading QA strategy and execution across legal software platforms. You’ll plan, execute and automate testing activities to ensure their applications are reliable, secure, and user-focused — all while working collaboratively across development, analysis, and project management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test plans and strategies for complex legal systems
- Execute manual and automated tests (regression, performance, security)
- Lead defect tracking, resolution, and process improvement
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Generate comprehensive test documentation and stakeholder reports
- Drive UAT activities and support end users
- Mentor junior testers and promote QA best practices
- Stay ahead of testing trends and suggest continuous improvements
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years in software testing, with 2+ in a senior QA role
- Proficiency in Selenium, JIRA and test automation scripting
- Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience generating detailed user test scripts and leading training sessions
- Exposure to legal tech or a regulated environment (preferred)
- ISTQB or similar certification (a plus)
