About the role

We're looking for a Technical Consultant to join a growing Professional Services team delivering software implementations, SQL data migrations and systems integration projects for leading UK and international law firms.

Working directly with clients, you'll play a key role in migrating and transforming data across a range of legal technology platforms.

You'll analyse Legacy databases, define data mapping requirements, develop SQL migration scripts and support the successful implementation of enterprise legal applications.

This is a hands‑on technical consultancy role and would suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems while working closely with customers.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Deliver technical implementation and migration projects from discovery through to go‑live
  • Analyse SQL databases and Legacy application structures
  • Design source‑to‑target data mapping specifications
  • Build and execute SQL migration scripts
  • Develop and support ETL processes
  • Perform data conversion, transformation, cleansing and validation
  • Support integrations between legal applications and business systems
  • Configure software solutions during implementation projects
  • Produce technical documentation, migration plans and implementation guides
  • Work directly with customers to gather technical requirements and provide technical guidance
  • Troubleshoot migration and implementation issues throughout project delivery
  • You’ll ideally have experience with Essential
