Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with a background delivering technology projects within a law firm or professional services environment? We are recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join a leading international law firm on a 14-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of technology projects, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and managing detailed project plans covering scope, budgets, resources, responsibilities and timescales
- Delivering multiple IT projects from initial requirements through to implementation and handover
- Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into practical technology solutions
- Managing projects across application development, software implementation, infrastructure and office technology
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate business processes
- Managing project risks, budgets, milestones and competing priorities
- Coordinating technical and business resources across multiple projects
- Communicating progress clearly to sponsors and key stakeholders
- Supporting business process redesign and documentation when introducing new technology
- Ensuring successful handover into production and completing post-project reviews
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience successfully delivering IT projects using recognised project management methodologies
- Experience managing a varied portfolio of technology projects
- Previous exposure to the legal sector is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of legal technology such as Document Management, Practice Management, Conflict Checking and Billing systems
- Strong Microsoft Office and MS Project skills
- Exposure to technologies such as iManage, SharePoint, Active Directory, messaging, virtualisation, LAN and WAN environments would be advantageous
- PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification is highly desirable
- Business Analysis qualifications would also be beneficial
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and project leadership skills
- Ability to manage conflicting requirements and priorities
- Commercial, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
