Are you a Data Governance Analyst or Business Analyst looking for an opportunity to help shape how data is managed, understood and used across a global professional services organisation?
Our client, an established international law firm, is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join its growing Data function. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in embedding a newly established Data Governance Framework, improving data quality and ownership, and working closely with business and technology stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
Supporting the implementation and ongoing development of the organisation's Data Governance Framework.
Working closely with Data Stewards, business stakeholders and technology teams to improve data quality, ownership and understanding.
Developing and maintaining data governance documentation, including business data glossaries, data dictionaries, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data ownership matrices and data quality rules.
Mapping business processes and data lineage to understand how data is created, transformed, shared and used.
Gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, use cases and functional specifications.
Using Power BI to create reports and visualisations supporting data governance initiatives.
Identifying, tracking and helping resolve data quality and governance issues.
Supporting training, communications and guidance to encourage adoption of data governance standards and processes.
Helping improve reference data management and the consistency of data across business systems.
What are we looking for?
