About Us
PicTours is a photography-based walking tour company, offering visitors and locals a unique way to explore Birmingham’s hidden gems. We’re looking for detail-oriented mystery shoppers to help us maintain and improve our tour experience.
Role Overview
As a mystery shopper, you’ll attend one of our Birmingham walking tours as a regular customer. Your role will be to observe and evaluate various aspects of the experience—such as customer service, tour content, guide professionalism, and overall atmosphere—then provide detailed, structured feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend assigned walking tours in Birmingham City Centre.
- Observe and assess the quality of the tour guide’s delivery, friendliness, and knowledge.
- Note the timing, structure, and accessibility of the tour.
- Take discreet notes and photographs (if required) during or immediately after the tour.
- Submit a written report using our feedback form within 24 hours of the tour.
Requirements
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to write clear, constructive feedback.
- Comfortable walking for up to 1.5 hours outdoors.
- Must be 18 or over and legally eligible to work in the UK.
