Please note that this is a Full-Time Contractor (12-month contract)– you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, with the option to join us in the office whenever you’d like! At Picsart, creators are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that delivering exceptional creator experiences is key to our success. Our Design disciplines, Product Design, User Research, and UX Writing, shape these experiences and help define what’s next for Picsart.

In this role, you’ll design and shape Picsart Drive, an AI powered creative workspace where content doesn’t just live, but becomes usable, discoverable, and actionable. Moving beyond traditional storage, Drive is evolving into a system that understands creators’ assets, surfaces the right content at the right time, and seamlessly connects creation, editing, and reuse. You’ll work across web and mobile platforms, defining how creators navigate, organize, and interact with their creative memory in a modern, AI native product. Embedded in a core product area, you’ll partner with growth, monetization, product marketing, and engineering teams to drive meaningful outcomes for both users and the business. This is a purely hands-on role, with no line management. We’re looking for someone who leads through craft, contributing directly with high quality design work and influencing through execution.

You will operate with an AI-first design workflow, from ideation to prototyping, pairing Figma with AI IDEs (e.g., Cursor) to test interaction patterns quickly and ship with data-backed confidence.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Design systems that transform Drive from a storage layer into an intelligent, context aware workspace that supports ongoing creation.
  • Shape how assets are surfaced, reused, and activated through search, recommendations, collections, and AI assisted organization.
  • Create scalable patterns for organization, discovery, tagging, filtering, and project based workflows across large and growing content libraries.
  • Sketch, wireframe, and prototype solutions, iterating rapidly based on user feedback, collaboration, and performance data.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure experiences are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with real creative workflows.
  • Move from sketch to wireframe to coded prototype using Figma and Claude to validate ideas with real usage and telemetry.
  • Partner with analysts and product managers to translate behavioral data into actionable improvements, optimizing for engagement, retention, and reuse.
  • Work closely with growth, monetization, product marketing, and engineering to connect Drive seamlessly with creation flows, tools, and AI capabilities.
  • Push for excellence in craft and systems thinking, helping define how AI native creative tools should behave and feel.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing products (ideally within SaaS, creative platforms, editing tools, or gaming).
  • Strong experience designing content heavy systems or workflows such as asset libraries, dashboards, CMS, or file systems.
  • Experience thinking in systems, not just screens, especially around organization, discovery, and reuse.
  • Expertise in Figma and AI tools to enhance the design process.
  • Familiarity with front end code and vibe coding for rapid prototyping.
  • Strong visual design skills including typography, layout, motion, or systems thinking.
  • Experience improving user flows such as activation, retention, and repeat usage.
  • Clear communicator who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end to end product design thinking and measurable impact.
Good To Have
  • Experience designing AI powered features such as search, recommendations, auto tagging, or smart organization.
  • Familiarity with creative workflows such as design, video, or content production.
  • Experience with file systems, cloud storage, or asset management tools.
  • Interest in shaping AI native product experiences beyond traditional UI patterns.
