Your Role
As the Automotive EMEA Key Account Manager, you will be the strategic lead responsible for driving dominant market share and revenue growth within the European, Middle Eastern, and African automotive sectors. Reporting to the Automotive Business Lead, you will manage the entire lifecycle of our most prestigious accounts from initial organisational mapping and contract acquisition to long-term service delivery. You will act as the critical bridge between our high-profile Vehicle Manufacturer (VM) clients and our internal Engineering and Operations teams, ensuring Pico remains a top-tier, approved global supplier while maintaining a high value, data driven sales funnel.
What You'll Be Doing
- Retaining existing VM customers while aggressively securing new business to ensure dominant growth across the EMEA region.
- Developing and executing comprehensive plans that include stakeholder identification and organisational mapping to guarantee a continuous pipeline of orders.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for Key Accounts, collaborating internally to resolve complex inquiries and maintain industry-leading Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
- Maintaining high visibility within accounts to provide "Voice of the Customer" (VOC) feedback and competitor updates, formalised through CRM data and quarterly reports.
- Partnering with Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to ensure Pico satisfies technical requirements and remains on all critical Approved Supplier lists.
- Administering monthly project updates and utilising CRM technology to provide accurate, live business intelligence for the Automotive business unit.
What You'll Need
- Extensive experience in international account management with a proven, documented track record of business development wins.
- Strategic selling expertise specifically within Workshop Equipment, Measurement, or Diagnostic Products.
- A deep understanding of selling into VM Tools, Equipment, or After-sales departments, supported by an existing network of active contacts.
- Full fluency in both English and German is essential for daily operations and stakeholder management.
- A relentless drive to achieve positive commercial results and hit ambitious growth targets.
- Exceptional skills in prioritising and managing multiple complex accounts and technical tasks simultaneously.
