Purpose of the role

Pico are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to deliver post sales and professional services tasks in the APAC region specialising in the Corvil product suite at Pico.

As a Pico Analytics Implementation Engineer, you will be instrumental in facilitating customer success with the Corvil product to ensure that customer satisfaction and retention is achieved and maintained.

This key position requires someone who loves to learn, thrives working "hands-on" with cutting edge technologies and can explain and teach complicated concepts to others.

This position will report to the Manager of Corvil Services based in London and will interact directly with internal sales, account management, product management, and Corvil Technical Support staff.

Responsibilities and duties

  • (include but not limited to)
  • Delivery of Corvil product implementation and configuration services in person at customer sites, via remote access and during screenshare webex/zoom/MS teams meetings with Corvil users at a range of customer accounts.
  • Build relationships and trust with key technical stakeholders and Corvil product users within assigned accounts, typically within technology infrastructure groups including networking and application teams.
  • Maintain record of professional services delivered to customers using Jira / Salesforce, etc.
  • Work closely with clients and prospects to understand/interpret technology requirements and collaboratively design, recommend, and document individual technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry leading financial technology solution providers and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide feedback to the Product Management team to pass along requirements that will influence roadmaps and future design considerations.
  • Identify opportunities for further integration in the client’s environment of Pico products and communicate with colleagues in Sales team.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge and positioning of the company’s products and technologies with a focus on the Corvil product suite.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of industry trends and competitive products.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in packet-based analysis including solid TCP knowledge.
  • Practical and working knowledge of IP networking.
  • Knowledge of traffic capture and aggregation techniques beneficial.
  • Corvil CCE (Corvil Certified Expert) certification or hands on working knowledge of the Corvil product a distinct advantage.
  • Cisco CCNA certifications or equivalent beneficial.
  • Firm grasp of Financial Services trading technologies, including trading plant infrastructure/applications (feed handlers, matching engines, etc.) and protocols (FIX, Market Data, Order Entry etc.)
  • Knowledge of scripting in Perl or Python beneficial.
  • Experience working with XML & APIs beneficial.
  • Understanding of Cloud Technology platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google beneficial.
  • Understanding of Virtualization and Containerization technologies beneficial.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or appropriate industry experience.
  • Ambitious to learn new technologies and products to a high degree of detail and expertise.
  • Experience with Salesforce. com, JIRA, and Confluence beneficial.
  • Working Arrangements

This is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office and time spent on client site.

With the flexibility of working from home .

Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent.

The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
