As a Visual Designer Intern, you'll join a team of designers, category managers, copy writers and external creatives. Together, we shape Picnic’s private label brand that plays a vital role in our assortment. The deliverables include diverse artwork amends and all types of visuals to support the team evaluating and developing the Picnic private label brand. You think along with the designs by providing feedback and assisting in assessing colour proofs.

Tricks of the trade

  • Your goal is to reduce the lead time on internal artwork requests.
  • Mock-up creation: Create digital and physical mock-ups to help the team evaluate design directions.
  • Feedback: Structure (design) feedback from multiple stakeholders and prepare execution of it.
  • File management: Manage final artwork files by structure and archiving them.
  • Support the team and designers: Support the team by assessing artwork proofs and centralizing the latest guideline decisions.
  • Collaborate and learn: Work and learn from experienced designers, photographers and business stakeholders internationally.

Your superpowers

  • You are currently pursuing a study in Desktop publishing, Visual Design, Graphic Design or similar fields.
  • Competent with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • You have an affinity with print/packaging.
  • Solid portfolio showing a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
  • English skills on point.
