Salary: £25,185.00 – £25,989.00 annually (FTE); actual pay £17,114 – £17,660 per annum
Working hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:40 am – 3:10 pm, 30 min unpaid lunch)
Term: 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days); fixed‑term end 31 Aug 2027

Job Summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and flexible individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Corsham Primary School (Pound Pill site). You will work closely with class teachers to support children’s learning and development, contributing to a positive, safe and inclusive classroom. Your role will involve supporting learning through a range of activities and working collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in delivering the curriculum for Reception to Year 6 students.
- Assist students with their individual learning needs and provide one‑to‑one or small group support.
- Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and external professionals to maximise student progress.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, patience and initiative in all aspects of your role.

About the School
Corsham Primary School is located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Corsham, near Bath. The Pound Pill site offers 14 classes, while the Broadwood site houses 10 classes, both supporting children from Reception to Year 6.
