We are looking for a friendly and flexible individual to join our team in a combined role as Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Playworker / Classroom Technician at Corsham Primary School (Broadwood site). You will support children's learning in the classroom, help provide a safe and enjoyable play environment at lunchtime, assist with practical classroom activities, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Strong teamwork, initiative, and excellent communication skills are essential, and you will work closely with class teachers and the wider school team.
Responsibilities
- Support children's learning in the classroom for 23.75 hours a week (Monday to Friday).
- Work as Lunchtime Playworker / Classroom Technician for 5 hours a week (Monday to Friday).
- Assist with practical classroom activities and provide extra help to pupils during term time.
- Create a safe and enjoyable environment for pupils during lunchtime, facilitating play and supervising behaviour.
- Work in partnership with class teachers, support staff and the wider school team to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain a high standard of personal and professional behaviour at all times.
