Location: Pickwick Academy Trust – multiple sites across Wiltshire and Dorset, including Corsham Primary School (SN13 9YW)

Salary: £24,413 FTE (annual basis for full‑time)

Contract: Permanent/temporary, part‑time (exact hours to be agreed at vacancy)

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and responsible individual who enjoys working with children. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive difference to pupils’ lunchtime experience. You will help ensure children are safe, happy, and engaged during lunch and play, working as part of a team or independently under the guidance of the Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well‑being of children during the lunch break, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Support the Senior MDSA in the provision of lunchtime supervision and safeguarding.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and order in dining and play areas.
  • Encourage students to follow school values and contribute to a shared sense of community.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine caring attitude.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
