Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide effective administrative support to the school office while also delivering tailored support to a designated pupil to help them access learning and achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective administrative support to the school office.
- Deliver tailored support to a designated pupil to help them access learning and achieve their potential.
- Use excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Work closely with school staff, parents and external professionals to contribute to the smooth running of the school and the wellbeing and progress of pupils.
- Perform 1:1 Teaching Assistant duties, three 20‑minute sessions per day.
Contract Details
Working pattern: Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 3:25 pm; Thursday to Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
The two roles are linked; resignation from one requires resignation from the other, unless the 1:1 TA role ends due to the pupil leaving the school or no longer needing support, in which case the Administration role continues.
Important Information
Role may be closed ahead of the deadline if sufficient applications are received. The role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken prior to employment.
