Location: Picktree Court Care Home, Chester-le-Street. Family-run home catering for residents with residential and nursing care needs.

Role: Activities Co-ordinator

Hours: 20 hours per week over 5 days per week

Hourly rate of pay: £12.41

Responsibilities

  • Help create and implement physically and mentally stimulating activities for residents aged 65 and over.
  • Coordinate fundraising for day trips and outings as part of the role.
  • Produce posters and newsletters using Word and Excel; develop and update digital care plans (training can be provided).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of Word and Excel packages is required to produce posters and newsletters.
  • Ability to develop and update digital care plans; training can be provided.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; suitable for the right candidate with training.
  • Passion for entertaining and improving the lives of residents.
