We’re now looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C&E) Driver to join our team. No livestock experience? No problem. We will provide full training and support to help you build the skills required to transport livestock safely and confidently.

The Role
As an HGV Driver at Pickstock Telford, you’ll play a key role in our supply chain, transporting livestock between farms, collection centres and our Telford site.
This is a hands on, practical role where you’ll receive full training in livestock handling, ensuring all transport is carried out safely, professionally and in line with all welfare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport and unload livestock (full training provided)
- Ensure journeys are completed on time and in line with all welfare regulations
- Perform routine vehicle and trailer inspections, including cleaning and disinfection
- Maintain accurate records (logbooks, run sheets, fuel receipts, tachograph data)
- Drive responsibly in all weather and road conditions
- Keep vehicle in excellent condition, inside and out
- Follow all legal driving hour and tachograph regulations
What You’ll Need
- Full UK Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Category C&E (Class 1) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- Experience in HGV driving (Class 1)
- Willingness to learn and undertake livestock training
- Animal transport qualification or licence
