Pickstock Foods Ltd is a family run lamb and sheep abattoir and cutting plant located outside of the village of Hartshorne near the town of Swadlincote in Derbyshire. The factory is a five minute drive from junction 13 of the A42 and is located in a beautiful rural setting within the National Forest.
Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for additional twilight cleaners to join the team. The role involves using pressure washers, foamers and tools to clean the productions areas and get them ready for the next days production. You\βll be working as part of a small team and will be responsible for maintaining the sites high cleaning standards.
Working hours are from end of production (around 4pm) through to around 2am. This can vary a little as if production finishes earlier then there\βs the opportunity to start earlier and therefore finish earlier.
You will be working with chemicals β we will provide training for how to use these correctly and COSHH training.
Reporting of any equipment damage.
Completely disinfect all areas where meat will be processed. This includes countertops, knifes and cutting tools, grinders, and other meat processing equipment.
Cleaning processing machinery from meat and fat products, sterilising between uses.
