About the Company
Our client is a well-established fabrication and engineering company specialising in the manufacture of fabrications for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Side Loader Driver to join their busy warehouse and production team.
The Role
As a Side Loader Driver, you will be responsible for the safe movement of long lengths of steel, aluminium and engineering materials throughout the workshop and yard. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are supplied efficiently to production while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Side Loader Forklift safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries of steel, aluminium and other engineering materials.
- Moving long and heavy loads around the workshop and yard.
- Supplying materials to fabrication, welding and production departments.
- Booking goods in and checking deliveries against paperwork.
- Stock control and material handling.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a valid Side Loader Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
