We are seeking a reliable and highly organised Warehouse / Factory Administrator to support the smooth running of production and order processes. This role acts as a key link between the office and the factory floor, ensuring accurate order handling, efficient communication, and timely production coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately using internal computer systems
  • Coordinate order flow between the office and factory production teams
  • Act as the main point of contact between administrative and shop floor staff
  • Monitor production progress and update order statuses
  • Prepare and manage documentation for manufacturing and dispatch
  • Assist with stock control and inventory records where required
  • Ensure all data entry is accurate and up to date
  • Support packing and dispatch operations on the mezzanine level when needed
  • Maintain clear communication across departments to ensure deadlines are met

Working Environment

  • Based within a rubber manufacturing facility
  • Warm, wet, and sometimes steamy/hot conditions on the factory floor
  • Role involves regular movement between office and production areas
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Frequent use of stairs and working on a mezzanine floor in the packing area

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and administrative systems (e.g. Excel, ERP systems)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with different teams
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (preferred but not essential)
