Job Title: Receptionist (with Admin Support) Location: Ashton-under-Lyne Job Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and resilient Receptionist to join our busy team in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is a front-of-house role in a fast-paced environment, where you\’ll be the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, while also supporting with key administrative tasks. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Meet and greet all visitors and clients in a professional manner Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently Monitor and respond to emails, ensuring timely follow-up Manage and update diaries, appointments, and meeting room bookings Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, and data entry Liaise with demanding clients, remaining calm and professional under pressure Support other departments with ad-hoc tasks as needed Requirements: Proven experience in a receptionist or front-of-house/admin support role Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Thick-skinned and confident when dealing with demanding or high-profile clients Strong organisational and communication skills Proficient with MS Office and diary/email management A friendly, professional attitude with excellent attention to detail Available for immediate start and committed to a long-term opportunity What We Offer: £12.21 per hour, paid weekly for the first 12 weeks Opportunity to secure a permanent position Supportive team environment Convenient working hours: 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday Central Ashton-under-Lyne location with good transport links
