We are seeking an experienced Production Planner / Works Co-ordinator to join our busy manufacturing operation. This is a key role within the business, responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing customer expectations, and ensuring the smooth flow of work through the factory. The successful candidate will come from a fast-paced, reactive manufacturing environment and will be highly organised, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure customer delivery requirements are met
- Manage and maintain the ERP system, ensuring all production data is accurate and up to date
- Liaise with customers regarding order progress, lead times, and delivery expectations
- Coordinate workloads across departments to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Monitor production capacity and proactively address potential bottlenecks
- Manage and prioritise incoming emails, customer requests, and daily production demands
- Produce and maintain reports using Excel and ERP systems
- Work closely with production, purchasing, sales, and management teams
- Ensure all works orders, schedules, and documentation are accurate and complete
