About the Role

Our rapidly growing client are recruiting for Order Pickers. We are currently recruiting experienced Order Pickers to join their busy and friendly team on a full-time, long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate picking of customer orders using a handheld scanner
  • Packing and preparing goods for dispatch
  • Working to speed and accuracy targets
  • Stock handling and general warehouse duties
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Managing your own pick orders
  • Locating and picking items from the shelves/pick locations based on number, size, colour and quantity (especially in high volume)
  • Use of handheld scanners
  • Inspection/Quality Control
  • Stock checks, counting products in locations
  • Working with simple documentation like packing lists/ASN's
  • Use of pump trucks
  • Palletising/Shrink wrapping
  • Printing of labels
  • Reprocessing and re-bagging of goods
  • Processing/dealing with returns
  • Packing finished goods to a high standard
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Working Hours:

  • 6am - 2:30pm
  • 2pm - 10pm
  • 12:30 - 8:30pm

Please note these are set shifts NOT ROTATING

Requirements

This role is not entry-level - we need someone who knows their way around a warehouse. You must have:

  • Proven experience as an order picker/warehouse operative
  • Confidence using a handheld scanner (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fulfilment environment
  • Reliable attendance and a good work ethic
