We are currently recruiting for experienced and motivated machinists to join our team across a range of manual and CNC boring and milling roles. This role offers opportunities on both day and night shifts, working on medium to heavy engineered components in a busy and well-established manufacturing environment.

Machine Types:

  • Manual Vertical Borer Setter/Operator Day & Night Shifts
  • Manual Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator Day & Night Shifts
  • CNC Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer Day & Night Shifts
  • CNC Elgamill Setter/Operator/Programmer Night Shift
  • CNC Hartford Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating manual or CNC boring/milling machines
  • Programming CNC machines where required (Fanuc or Heidenhain controls)
  • Producing medium to heavy workpieces to customer drawings and specifications
  • Carrying out self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar machining role (manual and/or CNC)
  • Background in turning or milling depending on role
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain control systems (for CNC roles)
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion (where applicable)
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime when required

Additional Requirements:

  • CNC Vertical Borer candidates must have manual machining experience, as flexibility across machines is essential
