We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator with strong practical skills in TIG and MIG welding. This role is ideal for someone who has developed solid hands-on experience in fabrication and welding, even without formal certifications. The successful candidate will be confident working from drawings, producing high-quality work, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on a variety of materials (e.g. mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
  • Measure, cut, and assemble components to specification
  • Carry out fabrication tasks including grinding, drilling, and finishing
  • Ensure all welds meet quality standards and project requirements
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy and structural integrity
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
  • Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding (essential)
  • Strong fabrication skills and workshop experience
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
