Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing company based in Stockport. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is mechanically minded, reliable, and able to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
- Carry out basic machine setup and adjustments
- Perform routine quality checks on products
- Identify and report faults or maintenance issues
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs
- Ensure machinery and work areas are kept clean and organised
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
- Complete production paperwork and shift reports accurately
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime
Requirements
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment preferred

- Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rota
