Location: Pickles HQ (Denton / Tameside)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 + commission
Start: ASAP
Who we are
Pickles Recruitment — the unapologetically cheeky, purple-branded recruitment agency taking over the North West one factory at a time. We\’ve just secured our GLAA licence, and we\’re launching our dedicated Food Manufacturing Temporary Staffing Division.
What we need
We\’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who:

Has previously recruited into food manufacturing / food production / FMCG
Understands compliance, onboarding, right‑to‑work checks, and GLAA requirements
Can build and maintain strong client relationships
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Is resilient, organised, direct, and results-driven Key Responsibilities
Client Development

Win and manage temp accounts within the food manufacturing sector
Carry out regular client site visits
Act as the day‑to‑day relationship lead for GLAA regulated clients Candidate Management

Source, register, interview and onboard temporary workers
Ensure compliance is fully aligned with GLAA requirements
Manage shift rotas, candidate check-ins and weekly timesheets Business Growth

Hit KPIs and revenue targets
Maximise revenue through margin management
Work closely with the Managing Director to grow the division Essential Experience

Previous recruitment agency experience (minimum 1 year temp desk)
Knowledge of food manufacturing environments xiskglj
Strong compliance mindset (GLAA experience is a bonus)
Confident communicator, both on the phone and in person
