About the Company
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of rubber components, supplying products to customers across various industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and organised Factory Dispatch Admin to join their busy factory team. This role is based within a manufacturing environment where conditions can be warm, wet, and steamy due to the production processes involved in rubber manufacturing.
The Role
Working as part of a fast-paced dispatch team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately packed, labelled, and prepared for shipment. Alongside dispatch duties, you will carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Printing dispatch labels and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Packing products safely and accurately to meet customer requirements
- Checking orders against dispatch paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Booking deliveries and liaising with courier services where required
- Updating dispatch records and maintaining accurate system information
- Carrying out general administrative duties including data entry and filing
- Using company computer systems to process orders and update records
- Monitoring stock movements and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area
- Supporting other departments when required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a dispatch, warehouse administration, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude
- Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working within a factory environment that can be warm, wet, and steamy
