We are currently recruiting for experienced Die Cutters and Print Finishers to join a well-established cardboard manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production environment where quality, efficiency, and attention to detail are key.

The successful candidates will have previous experience within the print, packaging, or cardboard manufacturing industry and be confident operating reel-to-reel machinery and print finishing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate die-cutting machinery to customer specifications
  • Work with cardboard, packaging, and printed materials
  • Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process
  • Ensure products meet customer and company quality standards
  • Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
  • Minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency
  • Work to production targets and deadlines

Print Finisher

  • Operate print finishing equipment within a fast-paced production environment
  • Set up and run reel-to-reel machinery
  • Complete cutting, folding, creasing, laminating, and finishing tasks
  • Carry out quality checks on finished products
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately to customer specifications
  • Maintain production records and paperwork
  • Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Die Cutter, Print Finisher, or Print Machine Operator
  • Reel-to-reel experience is essential
  • Experience within cardboard manufacturing, packaging, labels, or print industries
  • Ability to read and follow job sheets and production instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with carton, packaging, or corrugated cardboard production
  • Knowledge of print finishing processes
  • Machine setting and maintenance experience
  • Understanding of production KPIs and manufacturing targets
