Pickles Recruitment is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Customer Service Team Advisor to join one of our fantastic clients in Hyde. This role is perfect for someone with strong customer service experience, excellent organisational skills, and confidence in handling quotes.
Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years Customer Service experience within an office environment
- Sage experience (ideal)
- Strong commercial awareness, particularly around quoting
- Proven experience working in a busy office
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely quotations for incoming enquiries
- Build strong customer relationships with a professional, friendly telephone manner
- Pre-qualify enquiries and follow up within agreed timescales
- Convert quotes into sales orders
- Liaise with internal departments including Transport, Fabrication, Warehouse teams and external partners
- Handle incoming calls and email enquiries
- Maintain excellent attention to detail across all communications and order processing
- Use Sage software to manage enquiries and orders (training provided if required)
- Identify commercial opportunities and add value to each customer interaction
