Key Responsibilities
- Work from schematic and mechanical GA drawings
- Set, operate and programme CNC turning machines
- Write CNC programmes from scratch and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and component availability
- Machine a variety of materials including aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, leaded bronze and plastics
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Follow company policies and maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CNC Turner Setter Programmer
- Strong ability to write programmes from scratch and problem-solve effectively
- Experience with CNC programming languages and software (Prototrak and Siemens preferred)
- Familiarity with XYZ machines is advantageous
