We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HIAB Driver on behalf of a well-established glass and window company. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and a permanent salary of £44,000.

The role involves delivering glass, windows, and related products to customers across the UK. Drivers must be comfortable carrying out offloading duties independently using a HIAB crane while maintaining excellent safety and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver glass and window products to customer sites across the UK
  • Operate HIAB crane equipment safely and efficiently to offload deliveries
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
  • Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
  • Check orders and delivery documentation before leaving site
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
  • Secure loads correctly and ensure goods are transported safely
  • Communicate professionally with customers and transport teams
  • Report vehicle defects, delivery issues, or delays promptly

Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

  • Comfortable with early morning starts and 10-hour working days
  • Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
