ABOUT THE ROLE
Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Have a passion for cars? Join our Operations Team at NEWCASTLE, NSW 2290! Full-time, Mon–Fri (8:00am–5:00pm). We need a reliable, customer-focused quick learner. Hands‑on role, permanent position, on the go, not behind a desk.
What you will do:
- Catalogue assets – record details, note damage, photograph, and upload within set timeframes.
- Deliver great service – accurate stock handling and smooth buyer handover.
- Team support – help out where needed.
- Collaborate across departments – keep branch operations running seamlessly.
- Asset handling – locate, move, load/unload trucks, via forklift, and track asset movements.
- Maintain forklift – perform daily checks, weekly maintenance, and complete logbooks.
- Follow WHS procedures – keep safety top priority.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Passion for cars, or experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded.
- Current, valid manual driver’s licence (essential).
- Current, valid forklift licence (essential).
- Basic computer skills/ability to use an iPad.
- A strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast‑paced environment.
