This work is physically demanding, but it’s varied and satisfying. You’ll be part of a team packing and wrapping, dismantling and reassembling our customers’ possessions and loading and unloading vehicles safely and carefully.
The nature of our business can mean early starts and late finishes, and there can be nights away from base – we’ll pay you a supplement for those. A UK driver’s licence is essential, and you’ll need to be able to drive a light van up to 3.5 tonnes GVW. You will have the potential to take charge of a move as Team Leader and be willing to undertake training up to LGV class 2 in your first 12 months with us. You’ll need a good level of fitness and excellent spoken English.
Previous experience in removals is helpful, but more important is enthusiasm, reliability, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing the best service to our customers. We’ll provide you with full uniform and PPE, and progressive training to give you the skills you need to succeed in this role. Upon completion of the training programme, additional overtime is readily available.
In return, we offer a full‑time permanent role with 25 days paid annual leave (in addition to bank holidays) and real opportunities for career progression. Full‑time guaranteed 40 hours Monday to Friday (with some weekends). If you feel that you have the right qualities to succeed and grow with us, please click ‘apply’ now – we’d love to hear from you!
Candidates will only be contacted if they are invited for an interview. You must be eligible to work in the UK. We are committed to equal opportunities for all, irrespective of race, colour, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability, marital status or age.
