About Company

Pickfords, the UK’s largest national moving and Storage Company is looking for an efficient Credit Controller.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Control Administrator to join our finance team.

To review, analyse and resolve issues relating to the company private debtors.

Liaising with internal staff to resolve uncollected debt.

Corresponding directly with private individuals regarding unpaid storage accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for finance and customer service, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of credit control functions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all private storage customers are paying by direct debit
  • Initiating company process for termination of storage contracts for non-payment
  • Working with internal legal department to resolve non payment

Requirements

  • Some credit control experience ideal but not necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
