We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to our strategic expansion and market presence. The ideal applicant will possess strong sales acumen, experience with CRM software, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

This role is focused on generating qualified appointments and Microsoft Teams meetings for a high-performing sales team of five. You will be provided with a curated prospect pool of companies with upcoming workplace change projects. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute structured outreach campaigns using the Apollo.io CRM platform to convert prospects into booked meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and execute outbound sales campaigns using Apollo.io
  • Set up and optimise multi-channel outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone)
  • Develop compelling sales scripts, messaging, and value propositions tailored to workplace change projects
  • Conduct initial outreach to senior decision-makers (Procurement, Facilities, Workplace, Operations leaders)
  • Qualify opportunities and book appointments / Microsoft Teams meetings for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking within Apollo.io
  • Conduct timely and structured follow-ups to maximise conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Consistently meet or exceed appointment-setting and KPI targets
  • Create content to be shared via LinkedIn and email marketing e.g. case studies and news

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ formal B2B sales / Telesales experience, ideally selling business services
  • Proven hands-on experience using Apollo.io for campaign setup, outreach, and reporting would be ideal.
  • Demonstrable success in outbound prospecting and appointment setting
  • Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to create persuasive sales scripts and personalised outreach messages
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers

Desirable:

  • Experience selling into workplace change, facilities management, property, or transformation projects
  • Experience working alongside a multi-person sales team
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools
  • Flair for social media, content and email marketing
