Overview

JOB PURPOSE: You will be at the front line of our Self Store, selling our storage spaces.

  • Cleaning offices, toilets and warehouse areas.
  • Keeping outdoor areas tidy, free from rubbish and weeds.
  • Maintenance can also include painting and fixing/repairing as required.

Customer service and sales: Helping to make the customer’s experience with us as smooth as possible.

  • Effective communication both in person, over the phone and through emails.
  • Responding promptly to storage enquiries, providing the best storage solution for the customer’s needs with aim to convert into a sale.

Computer competence: Manage customer accounts through our computing system (training will be provided).

  • Scanning, saving and printing documents.
  • Sending emails, and attaching documents.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Key holder – you will hold keys to the building.
  • Alarm callouts, to visit site out of hours if alarms go off.

The role relies on you being able to get on and do jobs without supervision, so it is important that you are happy to work without supervision, and under your own initiative.

Be prepared to understand the need for flexibility and be prepared to undertake additional duties in order to maintain the facility.
